Hypodermic Needle
The Hypodermic Needle can be applied through media and the influence towards the audience, during the media lesson I learnt that the Hypodermic Needle can cause serious influence towards the audience in every format of media. In the form is music there are music videos that can influence their audience, one example of this is the singer 'Madonna'.

Madonna has made a video called 'Feels like to be a women'. During this video it shows Madonna causing anarchy and chaos in the video. This could have a negative affect on the audience, the reason why is because women could watch the video and be influenced to copy what they see in the video. Another example of apiece of media that has had major example is the film 'Childs play' - during this film it shows a demonic doll that tortures and murders several people. The film had a influence on children, the influence it had is that two children had watched the movie and re-inacted a certain scene and torturing a child. The last example of a piece of media is in film, during the early stages of Hypodermic Needle was the film 'War of the Worlds' - during the film there is a radio speech, on the radio speech it talks about a alien invasion, the audience watching the film believed the radio speech due to it being on the radio. At the time audiences/people relied on the radio for news around the world. This is a popular and yet early example of a Hypodermic Needle.
